Its become evident to me since starting to fish Valley that the carp move around this little pool quite a bit. On the last session i found them close in feeding with the tell-tale signs of clouded up water on a couple of occasions. Obviously i had a go for these fish but they are cute and not easily fooled at times. However on my walk back to the lodge to fill in the catch report i found a small group really clouding up the margin below the lodge. Having already packed the car i quickly unpacked the minimum of kit. It took just a few minutes to catch one and its all on film. This is the most exciting way of catching carp and so this year my films will be full of stalked fish. Hopefully with all the tension, action and excitement too!
