They say that at the end of every rainbow there is a pot of gold and i have no doubt that sometimes there is. The weather played it's part as usual as well as pressure from anglers and of course, other species of fish! I spent the whole time trying to catch and never gave up. I employed a number of different rigs, baits and setups. Some were successful others not so and sometimes things were just out of my control. This week was no exception and i found myself going through all the emotions that carp fishing can bring. The ups, the downs and the learning curve that sometimes is a joy to ride. I'll be back next week to fish with the same enthusiasm and excitement. Each week is an adventure and long may it be so.
