A short session with my mate Jeff produced this 18lb+ common off a nice clean spot under a tree. I moved into this swim after seeing a carp breaching on and near the spot. A bag of the 50/50 fishmeal/salmon oil and a 12mm Berry popup did the trick. We strolled onto the lake at 10.30 am and the run came at 3.00pm. The rods were pulled in just after dark, the short drive home like so many we have had together before. A days fishing with a mate and a nice fish taboot! Happy days.
