It was getting late in the season and with perhaps only a dozen carp in sixteen acres (split up into four parts) location of the carp was going to be near impossible. So I had to identify a known area that gave me a chance in the short time I had. In was obviously gonna be hard going on Redhouse but it had one big plus, no one else fished it. After my quick overnight session the previous week I had a much better idea of how I was going to go about tackling it. It was obvious from the start that I would be catching plenty of Tench and Bream and like all the other lakes on the complex I would have the same issues with crayfish. But I reckoned if I kept the bait going in and worked at it a result would surely come my way, however the niggling doubts remained and that first fish was oh so important.
