Second week in on my syndicate closure and i'm getting fidgety and restless. I'm only interested in lake 8 and my focus won't change so fishing elsewhere has little appeal it seems. However i will be out again tomorrow, somewhere? It's daft really because i know waters where i am guaranteed to catch but like i say they have little appeal having fished all of them many times before. I know someone else is fishing the spot on the river Cam i have earmarked further downstream and so i dont want to encroach on them. They have been putting in the effort and i just found the spot on a wander. I have four local ponds with fish to 35lb and plenty of twenties and doubles to keep me happy. But all i want is to be beside lake 8. Sometimes when you focus yourself like i do you forget to plan ahead for when you might be off the water. But hey, summer always comes and i'll be back beside lake 8 soon enough. Until then, who knows i might stumble on a little piece of heaven i had forgot.
