One of the things that always keeps me going on sessions is food and it's been noted that I eat a lot. Often is what I would say as many of my meals are just snacks to keep me going and keep my spirits up. It helps to break up the session too by giving me a routine and something to look forward too. I' m not a fish at all costs kinda guy I suspect even though I obviously go out every time expecting to catch. But if I dont catch and lets face it early season on somewhere like lake 8 it's going to happen more often than not, then it's not so bad because at the very least I have enjoyed my time on the bank. That's the thing really, I try not to let the fishing get in the way of all that, there is so much more to fishing than just a result. Putting in the effort for all those other things that make life on the bank more enjoyable is in my opinion essential. So take plenty of food and brews and be creative with at least one meal because with any luck, the alarm will go off just as you're getting down to eat it.
