Whenever i'm around my old angling buddies and i am catching i can be a right pain in the ass. Ask anyone who has fished with me and they will tell you i like nothing more than a wind up especially if it's coming from me. It's a rarity for my films to ever feature anyone else fishing with me but there has been plenty of guests. Take Redhouse lake and the Park Farm film series for instance. Most days i would be filming and someone would turn up, occasionally betraying their presence to the camera but not often. No it's when i am fishing with someone that it really kicks in for me and the reason? Believe it or not i'm actually very competitive! Sure, you know i can take a loss but i do love to take a win! Here is me just after putting back the first fish of a 24 hour guesting with my mate Jeff, caught in the first ten minutes! Cocky isn't the word :-)
