This week I take the camera with me on my initial walk around the lake to explore the swims and look for the carp. As expected the usual suspects were found in the inaccessible North-West corner of the lake moving around in small groups and loitering in the sun. You cannot spend too much time watching carp in places like these because you can learn so much. Often in life it's the little things that matter most and in our haste to learn we often overlook them, but they matter. I have learned in life that to solve great problems, you often only need a little clue. This is one of the bigger commons I spotted guestimated at mid-twenties upwards and was amongst at least a dozen others that I saw.
