We are coming up to the last few episodes of The Woolpack lake 8 (2015) series, it's now the second week of october and water temperatures are starting to drop but i'm still catching. Here is my thirtieth carp from the 2015 season on lake 8 and the biggest stockie i have had so far at 18.5lb. These fish have now been established in the lake for three-five years and were put in at low weights. They are not a fast growing strain either and will take some years to reach their full size. It's been the first time out for some of them as well so the future bodes well for lake 8.
