The lake that Mary and Malins came from before they were made famous in Wraysbury it's not far from the end of Heathrow airport runway and is the noisiest place I have ever fished.
However it's full of carp and made a nice change from St Ives Big Fjords where I had been fishing for the whole summer. There your lucky to see a fish let alone catch one ;-)
Places like these can give you your confidence a real boost as well as letting you try out things and learn.
