Today i did another session down by the river on an area i have often though might produce carp. It was a week ago when i first popped down to bait up and since then i have been down each day to keep it topped up. I did a session four days earlier but came up with blank so today was going to be the last one as i have other places to fish. I got the same result as four days ago and that to be honest is how it goes on rivers. Unless you spot carp or see bait going then you are always going to be fishing blind and in hope, it's that simple. However i feel that if you want to catch wild carp all the effort and setbacks are surely a small price to pay.
