This weeks session on the Woolpack provided me with plenty of rod bending action and since i am only doing the day leaving the camera on the tripod is not a concern. Given this there is much more chance of me filming whilst i am catching, something a lot of you have asked me to try and do. Another positive thing about day sessions is it doesnt matter if you get wet and muddy because you're going to be home soon enough, whereas on a longer session keeping dry and warm is much more important. Day sessions tend to focus the mind more too giving rise to a sense of urgency and excitement in everything you do. The fish i am playing here is from the last post and was most likely the one that followed my deadbait in on retrieve. I popped it out again in the direction the Pike took and within five minutes....
