This was the last swim out of the three i fished for Pike today on The Woolpacks lake 8.
I started in the logpile swim on the south bank then an hour or so later moved to my favourite Carp fishing haunt 'The fall swim'. By lunchtime i had moved again all the way to the top of the lake and into the North-east corner. Three rods out rather than my cautious two because the going at the moment is slow. High pressure and clear skies over the country are giving way to hard frosts and sunny days so it's not the best conditions. However keeping active with a positive outlook soon sees the day off and before you know it another session is behind you.
