It's the last few days of my session on Nickolls lake and it starts with a beautiful misty sunrise. The previous night had been hectic with the rods firing off one after the other keeping me busy till the early hours. By 3am all four rods had fired off within 5-10 minutes of each other and so with them all out of action and leaning against the bivvy I decided to get my head down for some much needed sleep.
Four hours later I woke refreshed and ready to do battle again, first coffee.
