Most of my early days carp fishing in the 1980's consisted of short sessions where you would arrive at dawn and be home for lunch. Knowledge built up over these sessions always came in handy and often I would know just where to be.
This little water out on the edge of the fens is one such place where my short session approach always did well.
I have only ever done one over-night session on it since I first started to fish it 2002 and It's been some years since I last fished it with any degree of regularity but the knowledge I gained when I did has always held me in good stead.
Just like before the fish came in really close to feed and that as they say is a long story, but it's all in the film.
