It's my fifth session and i'm back on the spit, the main swim on the lake. Another short four hour session before work commences with just one rod and a handful of bait.
It's now becoming obvious how the carp move around the pool and where they are going to be at different times of the day. As I knock off the residents one by one not only will it become harder to catch them but they will also start to avoid the areas I am catching them in.
You can never be sure when that blank will come, but it's a sure indication that tactics have to change, will it be today?
