It's now the third week of September and high winds signal the oncoming autumn, surely the best time of year to go fishing. With this in mind and my shift pattern switching to lates I had the chance to fish every morning at prime time, so I took it.
The previous day (part seven) I finished up with one of the lakes lovely scaly mirrors off the spit swim but that swim is occupied today so I decide to switch my attention to another area that has been catching my eye.
