It's 2008 and I'm in my second year filming my sessions, already I seem to be more comfortable with the camera and I'm certainly comfortable with fishing the Woolpacks lake 3. 2008 was my last year on lake 3, I had joined six years earlier in 2002 after graduating from university. It was somewhere I had known about since 1982 as I knew people who fished it, but I was always drawn to the lesser known places where you hardly saw another angler and so never got around to it.
After graduating I decided to treat myself and join a water with some big carp that also provided me with a challenge and I choose the woolpack. As I say I spent six years on lake 3 and came to know it and it's inhabitants well, even though a couple did escape my traps.
So here we are at the peak of my woolpack powers spending three days in the shallows swim catching some legendary carp from a legendary lake.
