It's thursday and I have to say it's been a long hard week's fishing so far. The weather at the beginning of the week was wet and cold, the warmer winds didn't come and my hunch of fishing in no carp bay and waiting for that easterly didn't pay off. However wedensday saw me on the point and fishing to the south bank with a nice north north westerly blowing and I managed a bite.
There was only myself and one other on the lake and so it looked good for my return the next day with plenty of choice in swims.
On my way off the lake I noted where the carp had started to roll, a good indicator of where I might want to be tomorrow. I left the car park just after dark and returned the next around mid morning, there was another five cars in the car park.
