It's now late October 2019, I started out in the spring on the Gault lake not knowing what the season ahead had in store for me. At that point it was just good to get out again after the winter break.
After The Gault lake I moved onto The River Great Ouse where I had a real adventure catching some stunning wild carp from this mighty river system. Then late in July a ticket came up for Cawcutts lake a local pond of mine I used to fish back in the day.
I spent the last months of the year fishing there catching 20 carp upto 30lb+ and despite the noise I had a good time.
And that, is what it's all about.
