It's one o'clock in the afternoon as I continuing my third session in. As ever with the lack of activity comes doubt so a reappraisal of my approach, tactics and bait is the first order.
Changes are made and confidence returns but still those nagging doubts remain and it's not helped by screaming youngsters on surfboards all over the lake.
However, I'm not about to give up on catching that 40th anniversary carp.
