We are now in the third week of September.
This week I chat about Mr Sunshine, something I'm never too pleased to see and how at this time of year it's not such a problem.
How bites tend to come later in the day as the season wears on and the change in the carps activity.
And even though I'm doing well, catching on most visits, I still feel the need to keep driving myself on to improve on the success I already have.
If anybody was to ask me if I thought I was doing well I'd reply "Yes", however I know full well that to achieve that you must become a little obsessed and keep on constantly pushing yourself.

Reedy fen is a farm reservoir with a good stock of carp. Around 5-6 acres, the margins have extensive reed beds with a thick layer of silk-weed growing down the margin slopes. The deepest part of the lake is 28 feet with 14 feet just a few rod lengths out.
