Places like Valley pool are invaluable if you want to learn about carp. Unlike the larger waters where carp can move around distances at will and be out of sight, on Valley they are confined. Small waters are often much tougher prospects than larger ones. The carp get to know the place better and a lot quicker too. However given the effort so can the angler.
