It's the second day in on the session and the Tench are keeping me busy, big one's too! Throughout the day I adapt to try and minimise the takes from the Tench as well as recognise when it's a Tench that takes because they tend to drop off and leave you wondering. A third rod is kept as a standby all made up and ready to go to keep a hookbait in the swim as the time wasted with the Tench is taking it's toll. However, the weather is perfect with a warm night before and sunny day to come keeping the water temperature up and my expectations of a run from a Carp.
