The weather is pukka for my session this week with south westerlys and overcast skies during the day and warm barmy nights. I suspect the mozzys to be active and the carp as lake eight sheds some of its huge larder of goodies. Talking of larders, mine will of course be brim full, ready to give it's all in the name of sustenance and pleasure. Looking forward to mealtimes with all the associated rituals and pleasures is an important part of my fishing. As i have said many times it can raise the spirits and make the time spent there far more enjoyable especially if you're blanking or the weather is poor, or both! This week is no exception as i take a large pot of ground coffee, two kinds of tea, toffees, cake, chocolate bars, bananas, paella, loin steak, chips, homemade curry, eggs, porridge, paninis with chorizo, goats cheese and spinach.... Have i forgotten anything?
