Just back from the Carpin4Heros Hythe social where we all raise £2000+ for a great cause. so i'll take this opportunity to say a massive thanks to all who attended but especially to David Coates and Derek the fishery manager who with the help of others organise the event. The weekend itself did not produce more than a small common for me but come sunday i moved into the 'wild area' and started to haul. I caught some really nice commons amongst the dozens of beautifully fully and scatter scaled mirrors and this is one of them. I have to admit it wasn't until i looked at the film footage that i realised it was two-tone. My only excuse is four days hauling with little or no sleep unless i took the rods out, which i did!
