This week finds me in the end swim in the corner of the north-east bank where a right hoolie of a south-westerly is piling in. With days of sunshine and little wind the temperature of the water on the surface rises rapidly. When a wind blows the warm water on the surface gets collected up and pushed over to the windward side. This has a dynamic effect on the environment of the lake as well of course as the fish. So despite the fact that I would most likely have my bivvy ripped out of the ground I ventured into the wind.
