I often find that watching the wildlife can take up much of my time on any water. Apart from the fascination with wildlife and their behaviour it can also tell you much about fishing conditions too. The Heron is a master craftsman when it comes to fishing from the bank and there are not many anglers that are better. All the Heron has is it's instincts, senses and a very handy beak, yet it manages to catch fish everyday. It knows where to hunt and at what time too.
