Summer is upon us and in force with a right fenland hoolie blowing down the entire length of lake 8. There is already a few anglers on and the choice of swims is limited so I decide to start up the south end of the lake. Hopefully this will give me a chance of fishing the shallower parts of the lake whilst keeping my eye on the main body. Sure enough the next morning sees me move down to the next swim I nicknamed 'The fall' after seeing a fish roll. Looking back now I can see how pivotal this move was in forming my ideas on how the fish patrol around the center body of the lake and especially along that west bank. Sometimes you get a feeling for an area, something inside that says this is the place, put your baits there. As it turned out I was right, as you will see this swim again in future episodes, however that as they say is for another time.
