Now and then everything comes together to make a dream session, one you will never forget but it didn't start out that way. After running around all morning getting the field testers bait all sent out it was way past lunch when I finally pulled into the car park. The area that I was most interested in had caught my eye in the weeks previous and it was fishable from two swims so I choose the one I had yet to fish. The bivvy was all up and sorted and two of my rods had been positioned when two carp rolled within minutes of each other right in front of the other swim so without hesitation I packed everything away for the move then it started to rain. Whilst I was moving I consoled myself with the promise of a hot cup of tea, but when I was all settled in again I found out that I had left my cooker at home and it was another hour later after driving the 40 mile round trip home and back when I finally sat down in the pitch dark with the kettle on. The next forty-eight hours however more than made up for the shaky start, successful method was my standard bottom bait rig, my semi-fixed-running-rig lead system, an 18mm K-LO boilie all on the Kick-back setup.
