This week see's the last episode of my pike fishing on The woolpacks lake 7. It was a fun adventure and although i did other sessions and filmed them i think we have told the story.
It's also of course a farewell to The Woolpack as i have not renewed my ticket this year as i seek to fish elsewhere and revisit old haunts on the river and by the still waters of the Fens and Cambridgeshire.
So here is lake 7 in all it's late Autumn glory from the north east corner where the south westerlies always end up.
My last session on The woolpack was on the 11th December 2016, four days after my 59th birthday. The last thing i did was to close and lock the gate but as i did so i looked up, looked around and felt all those fifteen years since i first walked on, crash in upon me.
Always a sad moment saying Farewell eh
