Shallow lake is the most popular lake on the complex with the highest stock of carp. It's a very pressured water with people spending the entire season on it. However there are plenty of fish and given luck and enough time in the right swims you can do well I am sure.
I only fished it four times in all as I prefered the solitude and expanse of Big Fjords but in a way I do wish I had given it more of a go but then having said that every time I did the swims were not available so I always moved on.
It is a lovely looking lake with some great features and some lovely old english carp and if you have the time...
