It's become evident to me over the last few years that not only am I getting a little too old for bivvying up, but short sessions lend themselves very well to capturing the essence of fishing. With only four or five hours by the bank the camera stays out on the tripod. Blog entries become more frequent and this in turn leads to a lot more action being recorded.
I have always been proud of the fact that my blogs are not contrived, they are, as I have always said, as it happens. So after a frustrating morning watching the carp come in and nick my baits.
This happened.
