It's late August and the weather is perfect, so good in fact that I decide to get the bivvy out! Reedy fen is a farm reservoir with a good stock of carp. Around 5-6 acres, the margins have extensive reed beds with a thick layer of silk-weed growing down the margin slopes. The deepest part of the lake is 28 feet with 14 feet just a few rod lengths out.
