One of the most important things when fishing is being able to move quickly and easily. You're not guaranteed success but it can help break the monotony and make for a more involved session. However sometimes you just have to wait for the right time of day and at the moment the last hour of light seems to be favoured. This is true of most species at this time of year and i first noticed it in my younger years when i fished for roach on my local rivers. You would of course catch the odd one during the day and mornings are always favoured but the last hour of daylight often bought the most intense action. So even if you have been slogging away all day don't miss out on those last dwindling minutes, because it could mean the difference between success and a blank.
